AQUA-DOC IS A TRADE MARK OF AQUA-NOVA INC. AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR FOR AQUA-DOC MAGNETIC WATER CONDITIONER Aqua-DOC Magnetic Water Conditioner Installation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Home System: -No Tools required Where to Install this system? System Flushing Requirement: Very Important! It is required that after installing your Aqua-DOC system all taps (hot and cold) should be opened at all sinks, showers and bathtubs while flushing the toilets for a period of 20 - 30 minutes once a week for three weeks. It is advisable that you remove all aerators (little screens) from your kitchen & bathroom faucets while flushing the system . Although a minor maintenance cost, this flushing technique will accelerate the "stabilization period," enabling you to enjoy more quickly the wonderful benefits of permanent, natural soft water. During the flushing period, a lot of sediment will occur in the bathtub. Please don't worry as this material is actually the ingredients which make up the important mineral chain so important to health. Units must be installed for at least 90 days to properly solve each unique hard water situation. Once a month, two to three quarts of water should be drained from the lower tap of the water heater/boiler to remove decalcified sediment. This may be done for up to six months or until the sediment disappears at that time the heater is descaled and operating at peak efficiency. Recirculating systems with or without pumps should have a drain designed into the lowest section of the hot water line. Should your system not have this, we advise that you add one. Small scale particles may initially accumulate in the faucet, dishwasher, or washing machine screen "aerators," since the Aqua-DOC system is operating and dissolving the previous lime build-up. If these particles inhibit the flow, remove the screen, rinse it out and replace it. Pool System: How? - Saddle clamp design Where to Install System? The Aqua-Doc is simply strapped around the return line
after the filter or heater before the water enters the pool or spa.
